GROUND FLOOR COMEDY
A division of Consumed Media and CPXi, our mission was to allow up-and-coming comedians the chance to create content without restriction.
CONTENT
Content focused on comedians with unique voices that could take advantage of our production and writing staff. Many of New York's funniest performers are stranger than we realize. I wanted to give them the freedom to create work that felt completely in their voice, without the restriction of advertisers. This included video, articles, drawings, and songs. I was honored to work with comedians including Ana Fabrega, Wes Haney, Carmen Christopher, Mary Houlihan, Gary Richardson and many more.
SOCIAL
I focused primarily on Facebook and Instagram for brand building. Each month, new artists were asked to take residence including Gaurab Thakali, Lynnea Holland-Weiss, Hannah Wnorowski, and Lorelei Ramirez to help show our commitment to supporting artists.
There was a large focus on growing our audiences organically to keep our target market in line with the content we created, rather than changing course due to faulty promo. This allowed me to make decisions based on aesthetic vs. analytics.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
From the start, Ground Floor had a consistent growth rate. Without paid promo, our following was solely based on word-of-mouth and social shares. Through that, we accomplished an average reach of 100,000 per video published on Facebook while our following recently surpassed 5,000 likes.

Improv-based comedy series where hosts Frankie Nuniez (Carmen Christopher) and Frankie Nuniez (Anthony Oberbeck) discuss sex, rap, and why they don't use toilet paper. It was my job to shoot and direct roughly 2 hours of footage and edit down to 3 to 5 minutes.
